• Reflexology is the practice of applying varying amounts of pressure to the feet, hands and ears. It is based on the idea that body parts are connected to certain organs and body systems.

• Also known as zone therapy, it is an alternative medical practice in which pressure is applied to specific points on the feet and hands. People who use this technique are called reflexologists and it can be performed in a variety of ways, such as massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, massage therapy.

• This is based on the idea that the system of zones (or reflex zones) supposedly reflects an image of the body, such as the feet and hands, and that such work on them supposedly causes physical changes in related body areas. There is no evidence that reflexology is effective against any disease, but it is certainly effective in several different ways.

What are Job and Responsibilities?

• The basic task of a reflexologist is to diagnose the body map based on pressure values and to detect acutely stressed points. There are two types of pressure measurements: lactic acid pressure and pressure on the foot surface (measured by calculation of nerve pressure) and the pressure of the skin.

• Before you start reflexology treatment, you need to recognize the symptoms of stress-related disorders such as anxiety, depression, anxiety disorder and depression.

• The reflexology should know the reflex points on the hand, foot or body to create a precise pressure.

• The task consists of answering a lifestyle questionnaire with questions about stress management, exercise, nutrition, physical activity, sleeping and exercise habits and the application of a massage.

• To be successful as an independent reflexologist, you need to build and maintain a solid reputation and customer base. You can work as a foot reflexologist in an affiliated practice, but you can also work from home, in a rented room or even in your own home.

• Some specialists visit clients at home or have treatment rooms in their own homes and work as freelancers.

• With experience and further training, one could teach oneself reflexology, and nurses and health workers can also practice it to earn some money.

• Also, you can train and qualify as a nurse, medical assistant, or other health care professional.
