What is B.Tech Marine Engineering?

B.Tech (or B.E.) in Marine Engineering is a 4-year undergraduate engineering degree that qualifies you to join a merchant ship as an Engine Cadet and work towards becoming a Chief Engineer. It is the primary route into the Engine Department of Merchant Navy and one of the highest-paying engineering degrees available to Indian students.
